My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for you to explore your
thoughts, feelings, and experiences while embracing your authentic self and developing more
self-empowerment and resilience. You are the expert on yourself and the narrator of your own
life and healing journey. Feedback is incredibly important to me, so throughout our work
together I encourage open and honest communication about how the therapy process is going
for you and how I can best support you through the approaches I use. The therapy space is a
safe and affirming context in which to practice assertive communication, self-advocacy, and
boundary-setting.

I obtained my Masters in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Cincinnati in 2021
and have been providing individual counseling to adults in community mental health outpatient
and private practice settings since 2020. I value utilizing a client-centered approach to therapy
so that you can direct the course of your treatment and set the pace for the work we do
together. I will offer encouragement, insight, and various interventional elements that are most
appropriate to your needs. My hope is to support you in building a greater sense of trust with
yourself and help you validate your own emotions and experiences.

I provide therapy from a client-centered framework that is also eclectic and feminist in nature. I
incorporate elements of interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical
Behavior Therapy, psychodynamic therapy, strengths-based therapy, and expressive arts. I
also operate from a trauma-informed perspective and take into account what treatment styles
will guide you to reestablish a sense of safety with yourself and your environment while giving
you the tools needed to form your path to healing and revive a sense of hope.
I am so grateful that you are here and that you are considering taking this brave and vulnerable
step to nurture your well-being. If you think I would be a good fit for you and your therapeutic
goals and needs, please reach out and I would be so excited to work with you.
