We live in a world that is scary, confusing, and at times destructive. We can feel those very
qualities in our own lives. Are you struggling to understand where you are in life, navigating
current difficult situations, or experiencing depression and anxiety that stop you from finding and
living at your full potential? Do you feel alone in this life and want someone who can listen and
try to understand your experience? I am here to do just that. I am here to listen, provide
unconditional support, offer praise and encouragement, and help you identify the tools and
coping skills you already possess to help you live up to your fullest potential.

I enjoy working with a variety of ages, beginning with late teens to well into adulthood. I have
over 8 years working as a child and family therapist, and 15 years working as a social worker in
the fields of child welfare, treatment foster care, and medical social work. Through my work
experience and personal life, I have engaged with people from all walks of life including
LGBTQIA, different racial identities, and mental and physical abilities. All of this is to say that I
shy away from no-one.

I identify as a lesbian who has lived the experience of navigating through families, friendships,
and communities that might not align with your beliefs and values. I understand the difficulty of
having to stand up and be brave and the mental and emotional strain that so often goes into
being willing to live your truth despite the negativity that is directed back at you.  I will meet you
where you are and focus on the goals that you wish to achieve, even if that’s just a space for
someone to provide you uninterrupted attention. I see people engaging in therapy with their own
strengths and capabilities, and I am eager to help you direct this process to achieve the goals
you have for yourself.
